To overcome this destructive trendPerformance has developed and created a new fibre and called it Natura®, The name denotes a sense of comfort and perfect similarity with natural fibres.
Natura® is today an exclusive registered brand for the Performance customer base. A brand which has being promoted to all our European users and by an advertising campaign with the Trade Press.
Natura® is also supported with marketing labelling which includes sew-in tickets, embroidered tabs and swing labels (on the front, main characteristics of this fibre and on the back care recommendations). This label is available in 3 languages: French, German and English.

NATURA®
For several years, the basic materials such as cotton, poly/cotton blends etc. have been improved and became basic fabrics easy to make offshore. This fierce competition on prices has led to them becoming commonplace and with timeless attractive for most of the players in this field of activity.
Infinity® offers a natural, supple and fluid hand similar to those of natural fibres.
Infinity®, very comfortable on the skin, allows a perfect breathability, even in extreme conditions, perspiration being permanently dispersed to the outside of the garment.
Infinity®ensures a true "Moisture Control" thanks to the ventilation of the body through evaporation. Simultaneously it lets air through, allowing for body ventilation. These characteristics avoid the permanent discomfort of a damp garment.
Infinity® fabrics have a mate surface aspect and allow the creation of performing and resistant fabrics. They keep intact their colour, original look and performance for a long time.
Infinity®is the ultimate in easy-care and can be processed at a very low cost by rental laundries.
INFINITY®
Infinity® is a brand new fibre, its construction being based on the new “double population of filaments” technology, a unique combination of a conventional filament core for resistance with a techno-filament outer sheath for comfort. This technology provides its performances to the fabric.
As far as comfort was concerned, the current fabrics and garments available in those days provided a mobile sauna. Performance and Gauthier decided to remove this problem with the use of Pontella® which brought comfort linked to its breathable, moisture wicking structure (micro-loops).
Regarding the antistatic Safety aspect, we decided to use exclusively Negastat®. The key advantage was to ensure the wearer had antistatic protection without the need to be earthed. As a consequence, the wearers can now move freely within their area of work without being fastened down to one spot.

LINSTAT®
Linstat® was created to comply with the high demand of antistatic fabric from users who wanted to solve 2 key questions: wearer comfort and safety.
Performance chose to use Protex®, instead of low cost fibres for its high level of protection, which characterize this brand and for the logistical support brought by Waxman Fibres, European Supplier of Protex®.
Protex® is a fibre that gives a natural fibre characteristic, drape and soft handle.
Protex® pure or blended with cotton, has a very high L.O.I.(Limited Oxygen Index) providing a better fire protection. .

PROTEX®
Protex® is a revolutionary fibre engineered by the Japanese company Kaneka based on Modracrylic molecular technology.
Various trials were launched to meet both targets. If the protective functions were quickly reached, care recommendations (laundering problems) were a problem. Shrinkage problems arose that did not comply with the EN 340 standards.
But after much work, Argos® was launched and succeeded to get the homologation for 13 key European norms, fire, heat, molten metals and aluminium, electric arc, welding, antistaticity…
Argos® started its career in Peugeot/Citroen foundries, followed by other car makers, who also saw the potential of this new exiting fabric.
Argos® is appreciated by numerous rental companies and is the core of new development.

ARGOS®
Argos® created a few years ago, following PSA researches for one fabric able to protect efficiently all workers in molten aluminium foundries and also to be maintained in similar conditions for rental garments.
