Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF)

Cotton Club^® and Atlantic from 4F have been positively tested to "UV Standard 801" for protection against UV rays in may 2010. Test reports will be sent on request. It is important to take into account that these certifications have been carried out on fabrics with no finish or chemical treatment.

There will be no extra cost for UV protection!

INFINITY^® replaces Pontella^®

The recent bankruptcy of the historical producer of Pontella^® has forced Performance and its partners to replace this long used yarn with the new INFINITY^® tuned in exclusivity for us by a European yarn producer.

INFINITY^® hence replaces Pontella^® and remains a dual population filament. Its construction is a subtle association of a core of classic filaments and a micro-filament sheath for comfort. These micro-filaments create micro-loops which give the fabric all its characteristics. INFINITY^® offers a hand comparable to natural fibres, soft and fluid.

Gentle on the skin, INFINITY^® lets your body breathe - even by extreme weather conditions - as it will let air and moisture through. INFINITY^® captures 170% of its own weight in liquid into its micro-loops and allow for fast evaporation of moisture. Simultaneously air will be able to circulate and ensure body ventilation.

INFINITY^® is a performing and tough fabric which will keep intact its colours, original look and comfort characteristics for a long time. The absence of Pilling & shrinkage, the natural crease recovery make from Infinity^® the ideal product for several sectors. INFINITY^® doesn't lint and is therefore recommended for use in the food processing and car industry, both looking for smart aspect and cleanroom quality level.

INFINITY^® can be easily washed, whether domestic or industrial, allowing for substantial savings. All stains can be easily removed.

New COTTON CLUB^® versions

Cotton Club^® is experiencing a huge success all over Europe. 4F has therefore decided to market 2 new innovative versions: ATEX & ESD.

The ATEX & ESD Cotton Club^® versions will be presented on Expo-protection 2010. They answer the need for protection against explosion risk (ATEX) and protection against electrostatic discharges which might damage expensive and sensitive equipments ESD).

The 185 g/m² weight remains unchanged as well as the 100% long fibre combed cotton on the skin & 100% Natura® on the outer face.

Cotton Club^® will also be presented in new shades like Aubergine, Baby Pink and many more to be discovered.

SECOND LIFE^® because you care about the environment

4F have launched its very new collection SECOND LIFE^® with several products based on recycled bottles which contribute to a sustainable development and the protection of the environment. These products will be sold under the brand Second Life^®.

SECOND LIFE^® guarantees a superb flexible, pleasant fabric very comfortable to carry and respectful of environment.

COMMANDER AS: a real FR Fleece from 4F

4F has succeeded in putting together a truly original product: a laundry washable FR fleece, at a very attractive price. Such a fleece was long awaited, several customers were looking for it without having found a suitable solution to their needs, now they have!

4F has developed a real fleece based on Protex^®M/Cotton as far as Fire resistance is concerned and Negastat^® for the antistatic properties. This fleece named COMMANDER AS is available in a weight of 350 g/m² with different finishes (brushed 1 or 2 faces, shaved). The Protex^®M/Cotton composition enables you to have this fleece dyed to any colour you or your customer wish.

Last but certainly not least, COMMANDER AS has already been tested and certified to EN 1149-3, EN 61482-2 Class 1 as well as the latest FR norms i.e. EN 14116 and EN 11612...Try it!
